What are the different types of errors or Bugs?
Answer:
Bug: Is an unanticipated or unintended behavior of a Program or a Software. An unusual or unexpected behavior.
Defect: If the application/product does not match/meet the requirements then it is termed as a "Defect". A Defect is nothing but a mismatch in the specified requirements. It is usually found in the product after it is being delivered to end user.
Error: Is a deviation from the expected and the actual value. It is a variance between the computed, and the measured value or condition.
Failure: The incapability or debility of a system or a product component to perform its required functions within its specified performance requirements.
Fault: An erroneous step, or imprecise process, or Data definition in a computed program which causes the program/application to perform in an unanticipated or haphazardly random manner.
